Mr. Tan has lived and worked in United States, Canada, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Ghana, China, Taiwan, Indonesia and Singapore. He has formulated and implemented business development activities in the fields of mining (coal, nickel, manganese, chromite, and gold), energy, agriculture (corn, sugar, and rice), and transportation (shipping and aviation) in developing countries worldwide.
Mr. Tan has developed high level contacts in government and top corporations in developing countries throughout Asia Pacific, Central and South America, Africa and the Middle East. Mr. Tan is fluent in Mandarin, English, Taiwanese, Spanish, and Filipino.
As an international marketing consultant, Mr. Tan has assisted in the setting up of a network of dealers in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia.
Mr. Tan holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines.
